Thomas D. Berret grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Central Catholic High School and then the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating from the University of Akron School of Law in 1995, he returned to Pittsburgh to embark on a career in personal injury law, focusing on helping individuals who had suffered injuries due to the negligence or recklessness of others.
